Online Credit and Exemption Sign-up

Need to sign up for a credit or exemption?  Below is a link to Iowa’s property tax credit and exemption forms.  Where applicable*, forms can be returned to our office by regular mail or email at vaughn@mahaskacountyia.gov or thomas@mahaskacountyia.gov.

*If you are signing for Military Exemption, you will need to provide a copy of your DD214 that has been recorded in Mahaska County.

*If you are signing for Disabled Veterans Homestead Tax Credit, you will need to provide a copy of your DD214 (does not need to be recorded in Mahaska County) and a disability benefits letter dated within the last twelve months.
