Job Description
Individual will be responsible for conducting driver’s license examinations and issuance in compliance with Iowa laws, departmental rules, policies, and procedures. This includes administering drive tests for automobiles and motorcycles.
Job Requirements
Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Be committed to providing quality customer service by working and communicating with customers to meet their needs in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner. Proficiency in Windows based applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel; data entry; and operating office equipment. Ability to collect appropriate fees; process confidential information with tact and discretion; and acquire a working knowledge of property tax collections and motor vehicle transactions. Must be detail oriented with the ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task. The successful applicant must have a valid Iowa driver’s license and successfully complete training sessions as required.
